Here's what you have to do: |

1. Admit that you have problem, and that something needs to change.
2. If you think that Changes have help you find a meeting near you.
3. Go to the meeting! This may sound obvious, however, for many, the thought of attending a Changes group can be quite daunting. So don't let this put you off - don't make an excuse make an effort! it is the first step on the road to recovery, (remember, access to Changes service is open and open-ended).
Once you are at the meeting, please remember: If you wish you can remain anonymous
Personal information shared at the meeting will remain confidential
No one is obliged to speak or to disclose anything they wish to remain private
Users help each other ensuring that everyone (regardless of their stage in recovery) is involved and gets something from the meeting
Try to keep an open-mind regarding what is on offer
Try not to behave in a way that disrupts the meeting
Treat each other respectfully as individuals |
